Hey, I'm Michele!

I'm a Senior Graphic Designer based in New York with 7 years of professional experience. I'm passionate about elevating brands and bringing stories to life through my designs.

My love of art began at a young age when I discovered graphite drawing and painting, and my fine art training gave me a strong foundation to seamlessly transition into the world of design. I'm inspired by the work of my favorite painters, the songs I listen to, and the stories I read, which all fuel my experimentation with different software, mediums, and techniques to bring the ideas in my head to life.

Years of education in fine arts mixed with my love for oil paints, pastels, figure drawing, album art, apparel design, and even ceramics have allowed me to get my hands in just about everything. I am obsessed with color, texture, typography, layout and illustration. All of these have helped me develop an incredibly unique and vibrant sense of graphic style with deep roots in surrealism and minimalism, that evokes a sense of play in every design I create.

As a person who can never quite sit still long enough to pick just one thing, I am constantly discovering new interests to add to my list of creative skills. Outside of work, I’ve been making mugs, bowls, plates, and even incense holders out of ceramics. I’ve also become fascinated with photography, growing my own food, reading, and getting lost in a good song while working on a new painting.
