Marriott® Bonvoy Digital Campaigns

As a Senior Graphic Designer at Data Axle Agency, I work exclusively with Marriott Bonvoy and its prestigious partners and luxury subsidiaries. In this role, I design and execute a wide range of creative assets for Marriott Bonvoy’s digital marketing initiatives, ensuring that all materials align with the brand’s refined aesthetic and high standards.

The following projects highlight some of my most impactful and innovative campaigns for Marriott Bonvoy. From conceptualization to execution, these campaigns showcase my expertise in branding, digital marketing design, and creative storytelling across various mediums, including email campaigns, digital advertisements, newsletters, and web assets.

For Marriott Bonvoy’s 2024 holiday campaign, the goal was to create something unique and captivating to showcase both warm and cold weather destinations for holiday travel. Marriott Bonvoy tasked our team with developing concepts that embodied the holiday spirit while encouraging exploration.

During our brainstorming process, each team member developed their own creative direction. My concept centered on postcards as a sentimental way to share holiday greetings. Inspired by the idea that travelers are often away from loved ones during the holidays, I designed a campaign evoking the excitement of sending and receiving postcards from different destinations. Each postcard represented a specific destination or hotel, featuring unique Marriott Bonvoy iconography, location details, and dynamic holiday-themed animations. The message encouraged holiday wishes from afar while inviting viewers to explore new destinations.

My postcard concept was selected as the lead direction for the campaign due to its storytelling and visual impact. We refined the campaign through multiple rounds of revisions, collaborating closely with the Marriott Bonvoy team to ensure every element met their high standards. This process included updating animations, enhancing copy, and fine-tuning imagery for both November and December versions. By maintaining open communication and a clear creative vision, I delivered a campaign that met Marriott Bonvoy’s expectations and strengthened our partnership.

All animations were created in After Effects while iconography and vector elements of the postcard were created in Illustrator.

These additional concepts were proposed as alternate design options for the campaign. One concept featured a larger “hero” image showcasing animated postcards together and another idea included a small, stand-alone postcard element used as a subtle detail throughout the email campaigns, reinforcing the overarching holiday messaging in a cohesive and engaging way.


The “Escape to Luxury” campaigns are a series of digital newsletters designed to highlight the luxurious experiences offered by The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, and Edition Hotel brands—all part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. These newsletters are tailored to both members and non-members who seek premium travel experiences and sophisticated stays.

I have designed several of these campaigns with a focus on simplicity and elegance, utilizing large “hero” images to capture attention and evoke a sense of wanderlust. These featured visuals often incorporate video, animation, or static imagery to showcase the unique character and opulence of each property. By curating a refined visual narrative, these newsletters effectively communicate the luxury brand identity while inspiring audiences to explore Marriott Bonvoy’s most prestigious destinations.

Luxury Member Account Update Campaigns

The Luxury Member Account Update Newsletters (Lux MAU) are personalized monthly communications designed for Marriott Bonvoy’s luxury-tier members. These newsletters offer a curated snapshot of each member’s points balance, recent stays, and exclusive offers, showcasing the luxury hotels and experiences Marriott Bonvoy offers to its top-tier members.

In designing these newsletters, I focus on delivering a premium, polished aesthetic that mirrors the high-end appeal of Marriott Bonvoy’s luxury brands, such as The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis. Each design incorporates dynamic animations, high-quality videos, and visually captivating imagery sourced from Marriott’s asset library, ensuring that all content is current and engaging. By combining personalized content with sophisticated design elements, these newsletters not only reinforce Marriott Bonvoy’s commitment to luxury but also enhance the overall member experience.
