Turnover Album Art and Apparel Design
For this project, I created an album cover and merch design for the band Turnover. When they released their album Altogether, they invited fans to submit speculative artwork to celebrate the release. Inspired by the album’s relaxed and down-to-earth feel—qualities that also define Turnover’s evolving sound and merch aesthetic—I developed a design that balances playfulness with an organic, laid-back vibe. The project includes shirt mockups and an album cover, featuring a color palette that echoes the tones of Altogether while maintaining a fresh perspective. I brought these concepts to life using Procreate, Illustrator, and Photoshop, ensuring that every detail aligned with the band’s signature style.
Album Art & Merch
The goal of this art was to capture the beauty of a lived-in space—chaotic, disheveled, yet full of life. Amidst the scattered bottles, strewn clothes, and well-worn objects, surreal elements emerge: grass growing in the kitchen, a rabbit on the fridge, a flamingo in the bathroom. This whimsical take on disorder invites viewers into a dreamlike scene, where every detail hints at the remnants of a night well spent. The longer you look, the more hidden moments reveal themselves, turning the mess into a playful, immersive experience.
